Murder on the Barby" June 19th-20th 2001
This was our first overnight GPS Event.
Clues were found during the afternoon and evening.
Saturday night cookout: There was deep fried Turkey, baked potatoes, salad, Ranch and Blue Cheese dressing will be available.
Early morning Sunday Breakfast: We served Eggs, Bacon, Toast, Coffee.
We met at the Casa Java Coffee Shop, 972 N. Norma Street at the Vons Plaza in Ridgecrest, CA.
Sign-up and training started at 3:00PM.
The Event allowed time for stops, sightseeing, clue gathering and was great fun for all ages.
On Sunday Morning the Mystery was solved, Awards were presented and Breakfast served.
All the participants were great but only one solved the mystery and that was Jacob Baker. One of our youngest GPS Trekkers!
