Kern River Valley Ramble"Well here is the lowdown on the event that Ron Bolyard presented on October 27th 2001.
The staging area for the start of this event was
7867 Easy Street, Onyx, California. Latitude: 35 41.194' and Longitude: 118 13.428' .There were some folks from Ridgecrest and the Kern River Valley.
We all enjoyed meeting, teaching and learning!!!
It was a beautiful day and everyone had fun encircling the lake, exploring and picking up "treasures" from the merchants and the Museum.
The Picnic break was just the ticket to get out and enjoy the wonderful valley!
Our thanks to Ron for a beautifully presented run and we hope to have more "Rambles" in out future!!
